The journey of Application Mitra began in 2025, observing a recurring tragedy during the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) recruitment cycles. Every year, thousands of talented students—who spend hundreds of hours studying General Studies, Aptitude, and Current Affairs face rejection at the very first step: The One Time Registration (OTR) Portal.

The reason? A photograph that was 10 pixels too wide, a signature file that exceeded the 20KB limit by a mere kilobyte, or a background that wasn’t purely white.

In the digital age, recruitment boards like TNPSC, UPSC, and SSC have shifted to automated AI-driven verification systems. These systems demand mathematical precision. A standard smartphone photo simply does not meet the strict 200 DPI or 311×311 pixel requirements mandated by the OTR 2.0 protocol.
